The lawyers can only act on their clients instructions.  If the client is not interested in any further action or realizes that they have a weak case, the lawyer cannot do any thing further.

Some prisoners do not have a lawyer for various reasons

• they cannot afford the services of a lawyer
• no lawyer wants to defend them for various reasons.

In such cases

• The prisoner can defend himself
• The court will appoint a lawyer

It is important to be honest with your lawyer.   If you tell your lawyer lies, if the truth is discovered at a later date, it can be embarrassing and cause unnecessary problems.  It also makes it difficult for the lawyer to defend the client.

A domain disappeared from my account. I was told that I was already paid for it.

“When anything I pay for disappears from my account without my consent or even informing me, I will naturally assume that it is stolen. I am sure that you agree that if anything you pay for disappears from your home, you have every right to believe it is stolen and complain to the police or relevant legal authority.”

Stolen telephone bills can be misused for many things, like opening bank accounts  and taking mobile connections.

Once you register a complaint with the service provider,   you have proof  that the bill was stolen by the courier and misused.

Big companies hire hackers or kites who are very good at covering their tracks. The compensation offered is sufficient to cover their legal fees if caught.

When you ask them how much they are being paid, you are  asked to provide proof of their activities.

There are certain advantages of getting a Cease & Desist letter – you get very good insights into the company who is sending it and also a free template for the letter which you can use at a later date.  The letter will be written by a lawyer who has been paid hundreds or thousands of  dollars.

Is there real freedom of speech online?   Offline if  payment is not made, you can take the party defaulting to court to recover payment.

Online, you lose both  your money and are issued gag orders.

Being professional is not dressing in a particular way or speaking with the “right” accent, it is also being fair to the other person and respecting their rights.

Most of the offline companies I have dealt with are professional, but the same cannot be said for many online companies.
